In July 2018, I started collaborating with ANALI GOLDBERG.
I was invited to watch ANALI in a performance she did at a loophole in Neukölln where she was talking about Flamingos and their resilience to drinking hot and cold fluids and their ability to survive extreme weather conditions. Her flamingos represented Berlin’s resilient queer club kids and their ability to cope with our current society. Our collaboration is based on deep intuitive interest and research in aesthetics of archaic monsters, creatures and animal images from Greek mythology, with which we invent our own queer club mythology that tells our story of Berlin, pre- during- and post pandemic.
An expression in color blocks, how life is stronger than anything, and how we can celebrate them and stay with the trouble, as Donna Hattway said.
